How to delete your Little Nap account and data.

This page explains how to request deletion of your Little Nap account and the data linked to it — what we delete, what we keep, and how long it takes.

Deleting your account is permanent. There is no undo and no way for us to restore it afterwards, so export or write down anything you want to keep first.

Delete from the app

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, without contacting us:

1. Open Little Nap and sign in.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Read the confirmation, then tap Delete.
5. Confirm once more by tapping Delete forever.

Your account and data are erased as part of that request, and you are signed out immediately.

If you can’t sign in

If you’ve lost access to your account, email [email protected] from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We’ll confirm the request, delete the account, and reply once it’s done. We don’t charge for this.

If you’re writing from a different address, tell us the email address the account uses so we can verify ownership before deleting anything.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your account record — email address or the identifier returned by Apple or Google, and your sign-in sessions.
• Baby profiles you created — name, date of birth, sex and due date if you added them, and the profile photo.
• Sleep data for babies you own — sleep sessions, timers, quality ratings, wake reasons, tags, and your custom tags.
• Growth measurements — weight, length, and head circumference entries.
• Caregiver handoff notes you wrote, and their read receipts.
• Caregiver shares — invitations you sent, and your access to babies shared with you.
• Notification tokens — push tokens for your devices, so we can’t reach you again.
• Subscription records held in the app — the entitlement rows that tell the app whether Premium is active.

What we keep, and why

Two narrow exceptions, both deliberate:

Sleep data for a baby someone else owns. If you were invited as a caregiver on another parent’s baby, the sessions and measurements you logged stay with that baby and are reassigned to its owner. Deleting your account must not erase the other parent’s record of their own child. Nothing that identifies you personally is kept on those entries.

A one-way hash of your billing identity. Your subscription is processed by Google Play or Apple, and their systems can send us billing events after you’re gone. We keep an irreversible hash — not your email address, name, or any readable identifier — so that a late event can be rejected instead of silently recreating an account. It cannot be reversed into your personal information or used to contact you.

We also ask our subscription provider to erase your subscriber record. If that erasure can’t be completed, the account deletion fails and we tell you, rather than deleting your data while a copy survives elsewhere.

Deleting only some data

You don’t have to delete your whole account to remove data. Inside the app you can delete individual sleep sessions, growth measurements, a baby’s profile photo, or an entire baby profile with all of its sleep history. Deleting a session also removes the handoff notes attached to it.

Your subscription is separate

Deleting your Little Nap account does not cancel a paid subscription. Billing is handled by the store you bought it from, and it keeps renewing until you cancel it there:

• Apple — Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Little Nap → Cancel subscription
• Google Play — Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Little Nap → Cancel subscription

Cancel the subscription before deleting your account, or you may keep being charged for a service you can no longer sign in to.

How long it takes

Deletion from our live systems happens as part of the request. Copies can persist briefly in encrypted database backups before those rotate out — typically within thirty days, and never longer than ninety.
